Dear Kerri,

I wanted to let you know I have made my decision and will be attending Georgetown in the fall!!! Thank you for your help throughout this process. Without you, it would not have been possible for me to be accepted to any law school, but thanks to your patient, kind and wise guidance, I was admitted to all of my top choices. Ultimately, the hardest part of this whole process was having to decide between Columbia, NYU and Georgetown! I am so grateful for your help!!

Dear Kerri,

When I was confronted with the college application process, both my mom and I can tell you I was lost. I had no clue where to start, what to do, er even where to apply. I didn’t know what I wanted, nor how to achieve it. Then, my mom introduced me to you.

You not only guided me, but also helped me improve my writing skills. Getting into Duke wouldn’t have been attainable without you because before meeting you, I had never even thought of applying there. You so enthusiastically checked my essays for errors and helped me sound more professional. No matter how much work you had, you always made time for me and helped me submit everything not just on time, but early.

I really hope this small message reveals even a little bit of how thankful I am because no matter what words I use, there is no way to describe the gratitude I have for you.

Dear Kerri,

We would like to wholeheartedly thank you for taking on the role of college counselor for our twin sons, A.J. and Reuben.

We were well aware of the load of students you had on your agenda, and despite having to be there for all of them, you never failed to rise to the occasion and guide us. We cannot thank you enough for your patience and follow ups every time we needed you. Most importantly, whenever there was a doubt or concern, you were quick to seek feedback from your colleagues and advise us wisely.

Kerri, as parents of twins who have extremely busy schedules, Mario and I are also extremely appreciative of the support you gave us by directing them with reminders and deadlines. You were empathetic and receptive to our situation. All the reinforcing communications with the boys were easygoing, assuring, and positive. You made time for them on your precious weekends and opened the office to the students, which especially helped our kids connect with peers equally stressed and pressed for time to complete applications. Little gestures, such as the texts, emails, and answered calls for the panicky mothers like me, go a long way for a family where the first two of five children are involved in the intimidating college application process.

We would also like to give our thanks for all the edits, including college “thank yous”, applications, and essays. Again, we understand how many students you had to oversee, and we appreciate your cognizance of the deadlines and proofing their work.

Thank you for your kindness and patience with A.J. and Reuben. Thank you for all the advice you gave us all.

We are so happy for the boys, and thankful for your help in getting them to Cornell University!

All the best,

Virginia

Kerri,

So I got some good news today. I got a call from the med school student who originally interviewed me congratulating me on my acceptance to the Medical Honors Program. I was too excited to form coherent sentences.

I just want to thank you for all your hard work on my essays and interview prep. I sent you coal and you sent back diamond every time. You did a phenomenal job, and I don’t know if I could have done it without you.

Thanks again!!

Dear Kerri,

You are the best! I am really thankful for everything you have done for me. Without your help I don’t know how I could have ever made it through this process. You encouraged me each step of the way and in the end, my biggest problem was deciding between MIT, Stanford and Yale! Thank you, thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My family and I are very grateful for all the hard work you did for us! It was a pleasure to work with you and you played an enormous role in my path to acceptance at the colleges I wanted to get into. I am excited to step into the college life and get on my way to becoming a professional in the field of medicine. We appreciate your support and completely understand that my acceptance to Northeastern was caused by your dedicated hard work. I am so happy that you were the one who was helping me through one of the most important decisions of my life.
