International College Counselors Welcomes Two New Directors of College Counseling

   

We are excited to announce the recent addition of two outstanding new college advisors to International College Counselors.

Director of College Counseling Sam Johnson brings substantial experience in admissions consulting.  He is a Harvard University (BA, Russian Literature) and University of Southern California (MFA, Peter Stark Producing Program) graduate who returned to his hometown of New York last year after six years working for education companies in Beijing and Shanghai. Working as a Senior Admissions Consultant and Consultant Manager, he guided well over 100 students from China, the US and India to acceptance at top schools in the United States, Canada, the UK and Italy. He has worked with students applying to everything from boarding school to college to grad and MBA programs. Sam is also a former writer for the Huffington Post, the Harvard Lampoon and Cartoon Network, who prides himself on his ability to help students tell their story and craft the perfect essay.  He works in New York City, as well as with students across the US and abroad.

Warren Zucker joins our team as a Director of College Counseling for International College Counselors. He graduated magma cum laude from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Education and then went on to receive his Masters in Guidance and Counseling at UM. Prior to joining ICC, Warren was a College Counselor at two of South Florida’s most elite private high schools, Gulliver Preparatory School and American Heritage in Boca Delray. Additionally, he served over 35 years in Miami Dade County Public Schools in a variety of positions, including Counselor and Director of Student Services at both Homestead Senior High School and Coral Reef High School. Warren has also acted as a Dean of Students, an Assistant Principal, and a Site Administrator at an alternative school. He is an expert in Naviance, Bright Futures, and all phases of the college application process. Warren’s unparalleled energy and impact, his strong connection with each student, and his vast knowledge of numerous institutions and activities, has helped contribute to his enormous success with students and families. His primary focus is on students in Boca Raton, as well as international students.

We’ve also added some new office locations
Florida offices for ICC are now located in Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Miami Beach, Weston, West Palm Beach, Coral Gables, Palm Beach, and Wellington.

We also have offices in Westport, Connecticut and Charlotte, North Carolina. We will also be opening a new New York City office soon.
