Happy Holidays!

As the year comes to a close, we want to pause and express our sincere gratitude to the families who entrusted us with their students’ college journeys. Partnering with you during such a meaningful chapter has been both a privilege and a joy.

First and foremost, congratulations to our outstanding Class of 2026 seniors. Early results have already brought exciting acceptances to institutions including Princeton, MIT, Columbia, Dartmouth, the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell, Duke, Northwestern, the University of Chicago, Vanderbilt, Rice, the University of Virginia, the University of Michigan, UNC, Emory, WashU, Georgia Tech, NYU, Tulane, the University of Miami, Northeastern, Indiana, Babson, Case Western, FSU, UCF, and many more. In addition, our students have earned hundreds of thousands of dollars in merit scholarships, with more awards still to come. While the waiting can be challenging, we are confident that wonderful opportunities await our Class of 2026.

As we reflect on the year, we’re also excited to share several highlights from 2025 at ICC. Recognizing that our collective expertise, global perspective, and institutional knowledge create meaningful advantages for families, we continue to expand our services and resources to meet evolving needs.

This year:

1.    Our Impact by the Numbers. We supported more than 1,000 students from public and private schools across 27 U.S. states, Washington, DC, and 28 countries. Our work also included home-schooled students, transfer students, and graduate school applicants.

We also continued to achieve stellar outcomes in graduate school admissions, private K–12 school placements, and boarding school admissions.

3. Expanding Academic Support: Bright World Tutors. We proudly launched Bright World Tutors, our online private tutoring subsidiary designed to support students across every stage of their academic journeys. Bright World Tutors offers personalized instruction for SAT, ACT, and PSAT preparation; AP, IB, and AICE coursework; and core academic subjects including math, science, foreign languages, English, and the humanities.

4.    Our Expert Team Continues to Grow. Our ICC team now includes 20 full-time professionals, including 16 college advisors with a combined 250+ years of experience. We were thrilled to welcome Jeff “Jay” Durso-Finley, our new Director of College Advising, who brings 30 years of admissions experience—including a decade at Brown University—as well as Brittany Edwards, who leads the implementation and growth of Bright World Tutors.

5.    Giving Back to Our Communities. Giving back remains central to our mission. This year, ICC advisors hosted over 70 free seminars, presentations, and webinars for schools, community organizations, and families. We awarded scholarships through our 16th annual International College Counselors Scholarship, and supported numerous schools and organizations through donations and pro bono services.

6.    Additional Services for Students and Families. Through our sister company, Edit the Work, we provided professional editing and proofreading services for college and high school essays, as well as résumé support for students and professionals.

7.    Preparing the Future for Success. We continued to support families applying to private middle and high schools by offering the SSAT Flex Test at our Fort Lauderdale office and providing admissions guidance for primary and secondary schools throughout South Florida.

Thank you for being part of the International College Counselors family. We are deeply grateful for your trust and confidence and look forward to supporting you in the year ahead.

Here’s to a successful and exciting 2026!
