Meet with College Representatives and Connect with Colleges. Attend a Virtual College Fair!

August 5, 2020 by Cheree Liebowitz

At virtual college fairs, students can learn about hundreds of colleges and explore their options, all from the convenience of their home. Admissions representatives provide up-to-date information on their programs and share the latest policies regarding standardized testing, application deadlines, financial aid, and more.

Students can log in using their phone or computer to attend college information sessions, ask questions, and schedule a time to meet one-on-one with an admissions representative. As best as possible, these fairs replicate much of the experience of in-person college fairs.

The National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC) is offering four virtual college fairs this fall, to be held on Sept. 13, Oct. 12, Oct. 18, and Nov. 8. Students and their parents can learn about more than 600 colleges and universities through these events. Registration begins in mid-August at virtualcollegefairs.org. NACAC encourages families to attend their free virtual college fairs as often as they like.

NACAC maintains the high standards that foster ethical and social responsibility in college admission, college counseling, college fairs, education, and more.  International College Counselors is a proud member of NACAC.

Some additional upcoming college fairs include:

Coalition for College is hosting online events in August, September, and October.

Colleges That Change Lives The CTCL member schools will provide featured presentations starting in August. The presentations cover a variety of admission-related topics for both U.S. and international students.

National Portfolio Day This event is specifically for visual artists and designers who wish to pursue an education in the visual and related arts. High school students, parents, and college transfer students can meet with representatives from colleges accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. School representatives will be available to review artwork, discuss their programs and answer questions about professional careers in art.  Dates for the undergraduate events vary by state.

NACAC Performing and Visual Arts College Fairs  These events are for students interested in pursuing a college degree in music, theater, art, dance, or other related disciplines.  Upcoming events are not listed yet, but keep checking the site.
