New and Exciting College Programs
Despite a strained year for most academic institutions, dozens of colleges decided to add new and exciting programs for fall 2021. Both public and private institutions have added undergraduate and graduate degrees – in person and online – as well as certificate programs. Many of these programs are a result of economic, social, and demographic trends. So what’s trending? Not surprisingly, many colleges added degrees in fields like technology, engineering, and healthcare.
The below list is not comprehensive, but rather includes some of the more popular colleges for International College Counselors’ students as well as some of the more interesting new programs added since January 2021. We encourage families to use this list as a guide to learn about new options. Perhaps some of these majors sound interesting and will inspire your child to do some thinking. Perhaps a graduate degree program will lead them to do more research. As always, the college advisors at International College Counselors are here to help your family explore colleges and majors that suit your student’s strengths and interests.
