Understanding those differences can be especially important as admission to many schools in the State University System becomes increasingly competitive.

The campus gameday experience for Knight Nation received an upgrade with the completion of the new Roth Tower at Acrisure Bounce House, with elevated premium seating, hospitality spaces, and enhanced amenities.
For prospective students, applying Early Action offers a distinct advantage by granting priority consideration for scholarships, with award letters scheduled to go out in January following the initial release of admissions decisions, which will categorize students as admit, deny, admit to pathway, or defer.
Applicants are instructed to apply for their preferred term but will automatically be considered for alternative spring or summer terms if they request fall admission.
A critical piece of the application is completing the self-reported SPARK form with high school courses and grades. If a student is deferred, the SPARK portal will reopen in January to accept mid-year grades, while accepted students do not need to make further updates.
Because campus housing is currently at a premium, newly admitted Knights are strongly urged to apply for housing as soon as possible after receiving their official acceptance.

About 350 private colleges and seven state public university systems now accept the Classic Learning Test (CLT) for admissions.
Students may also use the CLT as an option to earn the Florida Bright Futures scholarship.
The CLT is launching the Classical Baccalaureate, where students take individual advanced coursework exams to earn college credit or choose to follow a comprehensive diploma track.

The Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) program continues to grow in Florida and is now implemented in 25 states.
Approximately 9,500 AICE diploma recipients successfully qualified for the Florida Bright Futures scholarship, offering a valuable alternative pathway for students who may struggle to meet the score thresholds required by ACT, SAT, or CLT.
To keep pace with student interests, the curriculum features courses like Travel and Tourism and Media Studies, alongside the newly launched AS-level U.S. History course.
The program is set to launch a new U.S. Government and Politics course during the 2027–2028 academic year.
In a major structural update, students can now take up to four full years to earn their AICE diploma rather than being restricted to the previous 25-month or three-year timeline.
